Please join us as we celebrate and honor Black culture during the Black Resistance Celebration Luncheon!
We are proud to celebrate the 97th annual Black History theme, Black Resistance. African Americans have resisted historic and ongoing oppression, in all forms, especially the terrorism of lynching, racial pogroms, and police killings since arrive upon these shores. These efforts have been to advocate for a dignified self-determined life in a just democratic society in the US and beyond its political jurisdiction.
The Black Resistance luncheon is sponsored by the City of Clemson, Clemson University, Clemson African American Museum (CAAM) and Littlejohn Community Center.
