Join the United Way and Meals on Wheels for monthly Lunch & Learn gatherings, featuring guest organizations from around Lancaster County. The Lunch & Learns will bring together nonprofits, businesses, and interested community members to learn about organizations and initiatives from around the county, and to have an opportunity to network over a Friday lunch. The first Lunch and Learn will be on Friday, March 3 from 12:30-1:30pm, and will be held in the event space at Meals on Wheels at 1411 Columbia Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17603. The registration deadline is Friday, February 24. Off the Streets will be the first guest organization, talking about their work helping Lancaster's neighbors facing homelessness find permanent housing. Each month will feature a themed menu, prepared by Meals on Wheels. March's menu is inspired by Britain, including stuffed peppers, cauliflower and parsley potatoes. Check out the menu in the photo below. The Lunch and Learns will be a fundraiser for Meals on Wheels and each month’s guest organization. Tickets cost $20, with proceeds split in thirds: 1/3 covering the cost of the meal, 1/3 to Meals on Wheels, and 1/3 to the guest organization. Questions? Email Feleen Nancarvis at [email protected]
