Safe Families for Children is a non- profit that partners with Christian churches to develop, equip, and train teams of volunteers called "Circles of Support" to come along side families that are in crisis situations These families are local and lacking support and resources to keep their children safe and their familiy together. This training will introduce volunteers to the different roles in the Circle of Support; Resource Friend, Family Friend, Host Family, Family Coach and Ministry Lead. This training will also give an overview of the challenges families in crisis face and how volunteers can support them using Radical Hospitality, Disruptive Generosity and Intentional Compassion.
