The Mental Health Recovery Board of Clark, Greene, & Madison Counties is sponsoring a FREE Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Awareness & Refresher Course (ARC) in conjunction with the Greene County Career Center Basic Peace Officer Training Academy. This 2-day CIT Refresher & Awareness Course contains curriculum that will assist officers / deputies / troopers that have already been certified through the 40-hour CIT course with reviewing information about Crisis Intervention as well as acquaint them with new methods and behavioral health providers in their area. This course is not a substitute for the 40-hour CIT training. Attendees should already have completed the 40-hour CIT course and have a desire to enhance their Crisis Intervention skills. This course is open to all CIT officers in Clark, Greene, and Madison Counties. Contact Adam Kempf ([email protected]) for questions.
