Dr. Steve Wagner is eager to demonstrate new digital techniques that allow the clinician to fabricate contemporary, first-quality complete dentures in three, thirty minute appointments using cutting-edge materials and fabrication techniques.Course objectives:Following completion of the program, the participant should have the knowledge to:1. Understand the skills required to diagnose and treatment plan the edentulous patient.2. Learn accelerated digital impression and record making techniques designed to be performed in a highly efficient, three appointment workflow.3. Organize and implement a simplified but high-quality denture service in a contemporary dental practice based on cutting edge digitally based clinical workflows.BiographyDr. Stephen Wagner, a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, a Fellow of the Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics and a Fellow of the Academy of Prosthodontics, is currently in his 45th year of private practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He received his dental degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and his prosthodontic training from MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. Dr. Wagner serves on the Review Board of the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants and is Editor of the ACP Board Study Guide. Steve is the Chief Clinical Officer for AvaDent Digital Dentures.Dr. Wagner was awarded the prestigious Private Practice Award by the American College of Prosthodontists.Dental images taken by Dr. Wagner have been used in medical and dental textbooks and by the New York Times, ABC News, Newsweek, and The American Dental Association in the Journal of the American Dental Association, ADA educational pamphlets, on the ADA web site.THIS CLASS IS DESIGNED WITH A HANDS-ON COMPONENT, 2-DAY ATTENDANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, BUT NOT REQUIRED. Friday March 31st from 8:00 am to 4:00 pmSaturday April 1st from 8:00 am to 12:00 pmBreakfast and Lunch will be served on Friday, breakfast will be served on Saturday. There is a special negotiated rate for those staying at the hotel of $129.00 + tax per night, please request the "Delta Dental" rate. 16 CE participation credits will be awarded for 2 day attendance, which will be accepted towards FAGD or MAGD awards.
