This event does not require registration. Northern Illinois University’s Child Development & Family Center (CDFC) are currently beginning registration for our Preschool for All-Extension (PFA-E) 2023-24 school year. PFA-E is a federally funded, no cost Preschool program available to qualifying Families which encourages Family involvement and participation, provides comprehensive developmental screenings for the children, and employs highly trained teaching teams who tailor our high-quality, research-based curriculum to meet the unique development needs of each child. Children must be 3 years old by Sept.1 to qualify. The PFA-E program is full-day, full week and focuses on kindergarten-readiness, social-emotional and developmentally appropriate skill building. We collaborate with community partners which enables us to support our Parent Partners within our program. Our program follows both NIU & the DeKalb school district calendars and runs from August thru May annually. This informational booth is open to all. No registration is required.
