Each week features a different style of world music with a rotating roster of band members and special guest performers. 1/23 "Gyptuoso" an evening of Gypsy Jazz, Eastern European, and Classical music with violin virtuoso Jeremie Levi Samson, Bob Hamilton on banjo, and Damien Lester on Double Bass. 1/30 French Manouche With sounds that make feet tap and heads bop, no place on earth has a tradition of jazz violin like France does. From Michael Warlop to the legendary Stéphane Grappelli, to the great Didier Lockwood, violin master Jeremie Levi Samson brings their singular French violin school to life. Come enjoy the mood of a 1930's Parisian cafe with Luca Pino on Guitar, Damien Lester on upright bass, and Jeremie Levi Samson on violin and guitar. 2/6 "Night in Paris" featuring Jeremie Levi Samson, Bill Saitta, and a guest musician every week (guitar, keyboard etc) 2/13 "Gyptuoso" an evening of Gypsy Jazz, Eastern European, and Classical music with violin virtuoso Jeremie Levi Samson, Bob Hamilton on banjo, and Damien Lester on Double Bass. 2/20: Grass Matinee (Western & Bluegrass ) with Jeremie Levi Samson on violin, Chris Cerna on mandolin, and Damian Lester on upright Bass The violin becomes the "fiddle" in this new show that puts a classical spin on traditional bluegrass and western music. You won't find honky-tonky country here, rather, unique arrangements of traditional bluegrass and western songs performed by some of the most skilled musicians in Southern California for this genre. For our debut show, Chris Cerna of Chris Cerna and the Bluegrass Republic brings his talented mandolin on stage, while Damian Lester of The Shadow Mountain Band, a high-desert band known for its 'desert grass' style, holds down the house with upright bass, and of course, violin maestro/chameleon Jeremie Levi Samson spins up the melodies on his 'fiddle'. 2/27: Just a Lil' Swing (French Manouche Jazz) with Jeremie Levi Samson on Violin, Luca Pino on guitar, and Felix Kochendorfer on upright bass With sounds that make feet tap and heads bop, no place on earth has a tradition of jazz violin like France does. Reservations Required Space is limited, so book early! Seats are available supper club style on a first come basis. Reservations will be held until 5:15 pm unless staff has been notified of a late arrival. Two Drink Minimum Two drink tokens per guest must be purchased upon arrival to satisfy our two-drink minimum requirement. Tokens may be redeemed for alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages during the event. Unused tokens can be redeemed at future events.
