In 90 minutes you will leave wearing a wonderful fashion accessory that you can wear to any event. An Afrocentric headdress can be worn in the Black Joy Parade or just because you're a queen! This year, we are selling premade headdresses at the Black Joy Parade instead of having attendees making them. Or you can choose to make another style from our wide variety of crafting materials including Afrocentric fabric, cowrie shells, seashells, Oshun & other African goddess symbols, etc. All of the materials are either faux or sustainable so you will be able to wear your headdress for years to come. Beginners are welcome. If you can use a glue gun, you can make a headdress. We finish with a photoshoot of you and your fabulous headdress! Crafting is more fun when surrounded by friends or family.
