Description

Winter was a challenge for many of our gardens this year, but spring is just around the corner! At this month's seminar, Brett will share his garden design and landscaping expertise to help us prepare for warmer weather. He will cover topics related to planning like assessing winter damage, creating and amending flower beds, pruning and dividing existing perennials, choosing new plants and replacing cold-damaged plants, and much more! There will be time for Q and A at the end. The seminar is free and open to the public but we appreciate reserving your spot ahead of time so we can provide adequate seating for everyone. Brett grew up on a produce and tobacco farm in Middle Tennessee but has lived in Memphis for 25 years. After graduating from Rhodes College, he worked at a Texas landscape design firm, where he fell in love with plants and gardens. He has learned a lot about the horticultural industry through his professional endeavors, including founding an Ag-Tech company, and also through trial and error in his own gardens. When he’s not at work, he enjoys walking his dog and watching his kids play soccer and lacrosse.
