Join us 6 Wednesday mornings beginning the Mid March for UFC's first session of early spring foraging! Kids with parents in tow will be: Hiking in and around the Ypsi areaLearning to identify plants, trees, and mushroomsForaging for early spring edibles including plants AND mushrooms (hopefully some morels!)Learning what is NOT edible, lookalikes, and other safety precautionsLearning from a life long forager and a Michigan Certified Mushroom Expert! Making friends! And more! We are an unschool group that encourages kids to pursue their curiosity, and listen to their inner voice.
