This class is for anyone interested in learning the fundamentals of embroidery and those wishing to brush up on this form of illustrative, portable, and meditative handwork. You can choose to transfer your own simple design or doodle right on the fabric. Together, we'll cover essential outline stitches, troubleshooting tips & tricks, as well as a take-home resource guide featuring helpful information on fabric, tools, and supply sources. With group and individual guidance from the instructor, you’ll learn running, back, split, stem, cross, straight, and chain stitch (+ a couple chain stitch variations).
