Penguicon 2023 | April 21 – 23Penguicon is a three-day event where we all learn from each other (as well as from our Guests of Honor) about open source, building sci-fi universes, soldering, gaming, coding, music, incredible costumes, and more. Our two pillars are science fiction and open source, but we cover as many diverse nerdy interests as possible. You can find all kinds of original artwork and non-commodity crafts in our hand picked Maker Market. Many nerds, geeks, and fans attend Penguicon every year to celebrate and share in what we all love. We are an all-volunteer, not-for-profit convention which brings together every kind of geek – software developers, movie makers, authors and their fans, foodies – for a weekend of sharing in panels, workshops, and parties. Penguicon has helped people collaborate on new art projects, meet life-long friends, and change careers. Registration via EventBrite is required to attend our programming and provides easy access to our Sched site to browse and attend a weekend of fantastic events! PLEASE NOTE: A valid and accurate email address is required to register and receive badge receipts as well as properly integrate with Sched. A copy of your confirmation email and receipt will be required to retrieve badges at Registration. No exceptions! Using an invalid email address will also prevent access to Sched. All Attendees, Presenters, Volunteers, Staff, and Con Com are also expected to have read the Penguicon Code of Conduct and follow it at all times. By purchasing a Badge, you agree to these terms and conditions. You can book your room at the Southfield Westin through the Penguicon Hotel Block. Penguicon recommends using the Penguicon Hotel Block link to book rooms. Booking rooms directly with the Hotel may result in problems if the local situation requires Penguicon to change plans.
