Hear what our kids think about climate change. Elementary and Middle School Students from the White River Valley School Climate Club will share what they think about climate change and what we can do about it. Participants will learn how our youth feel about climate change, ways they want to be involved, and what they want all of us to do. Professor(s) or Facilitator(s): White River Valley School Climate Club students; D Gene Kraus, Advisor The Climate Club is a group of Royalton and Bethel students from White River Valley Middle School and Bethel Elementary who care about climate change. Gene is an active member of 350vt.org, a citizen action group working toward a just transition to a carbon-neutral future. He is a retired clergy with years of working with church-related youth and is an advisor to the White River Valley School Climate Club. Session Type: Class Restrictions or Requirements: Come with an open mind and be ready to learn from and engage with one of the generations that will have to live with the actions we take, or fail to take, today.Materials or Prep: NoneAccessibility: The White River Valley School is ADA accessible.
