Note: This class is a special fundraiser for Bethel University and costs $25 per person. Pay at the door (cash or check preferred). Students will learn about and taste a flight of wines made from lesser-known grapes in an effort to educate tastes beyond the wine grapes most are familiar with. We will discuss the fruit, where it is grown, and suggested food pairings for the wines. Professor(s) or Facilitator(s): Todd Trzaskos, Wine Promoter at Vermont Wine Media, and David Sambor, Owner of the Bethel Village Sandwich Shop and Third Branch Wines Todd is a wine writer, author of Wines of Vermont: A History of Pioneer Fermentation, an amateur winemaker, and a wine promoter. He is well known in the Vermont wine community and for leading classes and tastings at Third Branch Wines. David is the owner of Third Branch Wines on Main Street in Bethel. Session Type: Class Restrictions or Requirements:  Restrictions: This class is open to participants 21+. Materials or Prep:  Materials: $25 per-person (cash or check preferred). This class is a fundraiser for Bethel Revitalization Initiative.Accessibility: The Bethel Village Sandwich Shop entrance requires several steps.
