After the successful launch of the "Jazz in The Sanctuary - South Shore" concert series in 2017, Ronja Music Company has been producing sensational bi-annual concerts in Brockton and Easton communities. This year's spring concert, themed "The Sanctuary Within," will be available both live and virtually, on Saturday, March 4, at 6:00 PM, with a "Meet The Artists Session," 5:00 - 5:30 PM, hosted by WGBH radio personality, Tessil Collins.
This exciting evening of world-class music for all ages will feature internationally acclaimed Drummer/Percussionist/Composer/Arranger/Band Leader/Educator/ Recording Artist /Artistic Director Yoron Israel and High Standards, featuring vocalist Nichelle Mungo, a three-time winner of Showtime at the Apollo, and multi-year recipient of "Best Artist" Award by New England Urban Music Awards, along with saxophonist/flutist Chuck Langford, guitarist Tyrone Chase, pianist Laszlo Gardony, and bassist Henry Lugo. Musical selections will include new compositions planned for the group's upcoming recording.
$15 general admission for in-person and live stream. $10 student (under 18 years old) for in-person tickets only.
This concert series is made possible through support from the Brockton and Easton Cultural Councils, Stonehill College Music Program, and private sponsoring partners.
