Join us for this rare opportunity to understand why reading failure impacts all of us, and what we can do about it. The Truth About Reading: The Invisible Crisis Hiding in Plain Sight is a documentary that explores illiteracy in America. When 67% of 4th grade American children read below grade level, we are all impacted. The conversation about reading needs to happen as a collaborative effort among educators, institutions of higher learning, legislators, parents, grandparents and community leaders. The conversation can start here. With the generous support of Colorado College, this limited screening, is offered for free to the community. Join us afterward for a panel discussion as we talk with highly trained language therapists, and others who have struggled with reading difficulties such as dyslexia. Working together, we can make a change!
