Birding walk Join the Rahway River Watershed Association and the Lower Raritain Watershed Partnership for for a short walk to enjoy the seasonal and winter migrants of New Jersey’s waters. Turn your eyes to the shoreline and you will find a plethora of migratory aquatic birds. Common Loons, Horned Grebes, Long-Tailed Ducks and Red-Breasted Mergansers are just some of the species that can be expected. The Raritan Bay Waterfront Park in South Amboy provides the opportunity to see these magnificent migrants as they pass through or rest before heading back north for the Spring and Summer.
