This event includes fresh cacao, a guided meditation, music, journaling, an interactive group activity, and a sharing circle. Cacao ceremonies are held by individuals who are experienced in preparing the drink and holding space. We will be using Primo Botanica Cacao Journey Ceremonial Drinking Chocolate. The cacao is sourced from The Manabi people in Tosagua, Ecuador, imported by Seva chocolate (based in Albany)
A cacao ceremony involves gathering in a circle with intention, breathwork, music, and of course, drinking ceremonial grade cacao. This tradition dates back hundreds of years, to pre-hispanic time, in Central and South America. Cacao has been known in these cultures as a heart opener and heart healer.
This is an experience that is safe, gentle, Kitty is offering this experience with respect to our plant teachers and utmost humility to the participants. It is her hope to educate participants about the history and benefits of drinking cacao.
Sharing this type of space can be a healing and gentle yet powerful experience for participants. The benefits of surrendering during a cacao ceremony include reconnecting to yourself, deeper connection with a community of like minded souls, uplifting your spirit, opening your heart chakra, intention setting, developing empathy, getting clarity, and increasing your intuition. The theme for this ceremony will be "Letting go".
Please note there is $5 nonrefundable Registration Fee, Registrants will recieve a $5 giftcard when they check into the event!
