This is not a marriage conference. This is an opportunity for men and women in southwest Louisiana to come together for worship, connection, and good conversation. God intends for His people to live together in a way that reflects His goodness and wisdom. Avoidance and awkwardness between men and women in the church is not God's will. While there are vital boundaries that must be protected, there are also essential elements of our siblinghood that should be promoted as well. We want to pursue relationships that glorify Him and strengthen the church. We intend to do that through breakout sessions, local speakers, and worship. Friday evening will be a time of worship, local speakers, and prayer. Saturday morning will be a time of breakout sessions, a Q&A, and good conversation. We hope this event for men and women will bind us together as the Church and capture our hearts to rethink community and fellowship. It's a time to be Free to be Real.
