Join us for an evening of music and poetry to benefit the recovery efforts in Turkey and Syria following the recent devastating Kahramanmaras earthquake. Over 20,000 people have died making this the deadliest earthquake in the region in nearly a century. Hundreds of thousands have been left homeless as rescue and recovery efforts continue. Pianist and composer Maria Rago uses her talent to bring light to international causes that are worthy of support; Maria and musicians Bulent Kose, Erkan Celme, Oya Dubey, Furkan Erkan and Kaan Kargin (the newly formed ensemble group "Turkish Breakfast") and renowned Syrian flautist Naeif Rafeh will provide an evening of music and poetry to benefit the Syrian Community Network and Turkey Earthquake Relief Fund by the Turkish American Cultural Alliance of Chicago.
