Description
Note: Come for a free dinner and networking at 6:00; the workshop will start at 6:30. Free childcare provided onsite. What if we had an interactive map to share and find the best resources and assets in the White River Valley? Let's make one! Central Vermont is full of great places, activities, projects, unique businesses, and resources for community members and schools. This fun community workshop will bring neighbors and leaders together to share their knowledge, inventory and brainstorm our local assets, and start creating an interactive map for all to share and use. We'll discuss the best kinds of things to capture and share a demonstration of LocalWiki -- a free website we all can edit. We especially invite Bethel and White River Valley community leaders (formal and informal) to come share what you’re working on, resources you need, or skills you can offer to others. We’ll also discuss ideas for more collaborative events and projects and creating opportunities to meet and share.
