A 101 time Award winning Barber who is a Champion in 9 states . Competition Judge & Author. There will be 7 Barber Competition categories featuring some of the most talented Barbers the United States have to offer. Vendors will be on hand!! Education will be available. Food, Drinks and Music. Show MC will be Marvin Scissor Hands Taylor owner of All in the wrists Barbershop in Indianapolis Indiana. No PRE CUTS ARE ALLOWED. All models must have at LEAST a 2 length of hair on their head at the start of the categories. All models will be prejudge before the start of the competition. NO ONE IS ALLOWED IN THE COMPETITION AREA EXCEPT the BARBER, MODEL, JUDGES and OFFICIAL STAFF PHOTOGRAPHER. If anyone goes into the competition area you will be temoved from the event. Barbers pay money to compete and need their space while competing. Battle of the Champions 2023. Student Best Fade 45 mins (No color, No enhancements, No permanent color). All Natural hair color & Cut. Cut must be BALD FADED. Low, mid, drop, high and tight or Hightop. No Mohawks or South of France. Must be faded all around the head. From Temple to occipital to temple. Professional Best Fade 30 mins (No color, No enhancements, No permanent color). All Natural hair color & Cut. Cut must be BALD FADED. Low, mid, drop, high and tight or Hightop. No Mohawks or South of France. Must be faded all around the head. From Temple to occipital to temple. Combover 30 mins Judge on cleanliness of the fade, precision of the cut and style. Color & Enhancements are allowed CLEANLINESS of FADE 0-10 points, PRECISION of Haircut 0-10 points & Degree of difficulty NOT A TOTAL LOOK CATEGORY. Creative Cut 45mins Anything goes!!! Color is allowed!! Enhancements are allowed! Get Creative. Be original!!! If you’re not CREATIVE this is NOT the category you. Wave length taper (1 and 1/2 to 2) 30 mins. Haircut MUST HAVE A BALD TAPER on the sides and back. Tag Team 50 mins 2 BARBERS (or Barber & Stylist)1 MODEL 1st barber/stylist gets 20 mins. Next Barber gets 20mins then they go together for 10mins. Anything goes!!! Color is allowed!! Enhancements are allowed! Get Creative. Be original!!! Make sure the work is clean. Battle of the Champions!!! 60mins!!! The MAIN EVENT. You MUST HAVE WON 1st place in a BARBER COMPETITION to enter this CATEGORY. Must have PROOF of winning a show. Judged on Cleanliness, Precision, Degree of Difficulty, Creativity/Originality & Total Look. If you win 1st place in ANY OF THE earlier Categories you can enter the BATTLE OF THE CHAMPIONS FOR FREE BUT YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN MODEL. The winner of last years category will get a FREE ENTRY & The winner of the Battle of Central Illinois A+ Eliete category 2022 will get a Free Entry. Meaning your model must have a MINIMUM of a 2 All over his or her head. Can not be lined up no matter What!!!
