Sangam, used for the confluence of the three rivers, the almighty Ganges, Yamuna, and Brahmaputra- also depicts the convergence of different ideologies, different faiths, and different cultures…all coming together to form the one big family that is our World, or as the Sanskrit phrase goes, Vasudeva Kutambakum. In a world where technological advancements connects two opposite parts of the world in a matter of seconds, yet is more divided, more polarized than ever, we at ISA want to take this opportunity in the form of our flagship event Sangam, to once again remind everyone that despite our socio-political differences, we are but one big family residing on planet earth. And this time, we would not just celebrate the gargantuan diversity of our motherland India, but would also invite student organizations representing their cultures from across the globe, to join us, and help us in reiterating and taking the message of unity and harmony beyond the lines of our own country.
