FOR THOSE WHO ATTENDED THE FIRST BURNWORKS: Workshop facilitators Teri and Willow will give a thorough training on next-level skills with props like firehoop, fans, staves and fire eating torches! We will spend time going over props from last time, and teaching more movements with them, then going outside for a fire jam! This is an excellent way to explore what this artform can offer in the way of self-expression, mind-body connection, and joy. ***WHAT TO WEAR*** Clothing: Natural fibers like cotton, denim (No frayed jeans), leather, hemp, bamboo, wool -Avoid baggy, fringe or overly flowy clothing- Go for workout style Hair: Tied back in a ponytail, bun, or braid -Hair bandana/scarf/wrap is warm and keeps hair more secure -NO HAIRSPRAY or product Shoes: Closed toe shoes, boots, snow boots all encouraged. We will be in a studio then on asphalt parking lot.
