Here’s a quick overview of the Leaders’ Roundtable and why we now have three: Six times each year StrongLead and Catawba Valley Leadership Foundation host a Leaders' Roundtable. These events bring together leaders in our area for 90-minutes of topic-based learning, a quick-hit of encouragement, and the opportunity to connect with others. The success of these events in the past has led us to create a Leaders' Roundtable in Caldwell County and Catawba County, in addition to one in Burke County. The three separate meetings will be based on the same content but will allow us to invest in a larger number of leaders in our area. This also allows you to choose a date and location that works best for you! You are welcome to attend any roundtable event so long as there are available seats. March Topic: Leadership Lessons from the Effective Executive You may not consider yourself to be an “executive,” but you are. You may not have keys to the executive washroom, but you have the responsibility of an executive—the responsibility to get the right things done. In this month’s Leaders Roundtable, we will explore why some people are just so much more effective than others. Why is it that people who aren’t brilliant and who have the same number of hours in a given week can be so much more effective than others? We will share some timeless wisdom from Peter Drucker’s classic book The Effective Executive and help you apply those principles in your world. Space is limited to 20 people.
