Do you own a e-bike or thinking about buying one? Then this is THE clinic for you! Anneke Beerten, World Champion Mountainbiking is offering a 3 hour E-Bike specific clinic were she will be focusing on how to ride an E-bike safely, how to get the most out of your battery, learn how to climb and work on skills like jumping, cornering and conquering rock gardens. Do not have an e-bike? NO PROBLEM! Anneke has a few demo e-bikes set aside at Specialized Experiance Center in Bentonville, and you get a 50% discount on a half day e-bike rental. What can you expect from this clinic: First of all a good time! E-bikes are awesome and Bentonville is e-bike friendly. Anneke will be focussing on safety, having that much power between your legs requires some different skills then riding your non e-bike! Climbing can be challenging on an e-bike, shifting, controlling the power and body position are all very importand! Next to focusing on that, Anneke will also be teaching you how to jump an ebike and get that heavier bike of the ground! Included in the price will be a gift bag with swag donated by Anneke’s sponsors and once we’ve ran out of battery we will head over to Airship at the Ledger for a coffee! LOCATION: This clinic will be held at the Specialized Experiance Centeer in Bentonville. This clinic will requere an novice / intermediate skills level and riding experiance. General information: REQUIRED SKILLS: Rider should be comfortable with riding green and some blue trails. This clinic requires using multiple fundamental skills at once. EQUIPMENT NEEDED / RECOMMENDED: Mountain bike in good working order, E-Bikes are welcome, helmet is mandatory, gloves, knee pads and elbow pads are recommended. In the event of inclement weather, we will cancel the clinic and issue a refund or transfer credit to another clinic. If the clinic registration does not reach a minimum of 4 participants the clinic is subject to cancellation and you will be fully refunded. This event is powered by: Specialized and Evoc Sports. In 2019 she won the Bronze medal at the UCI mountain bike World Championships, a huge achievement.
