Gen Kelsang Demo is the Midwestern US National Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition and the current Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center Washington DC. She has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for more than 25 years and has been teaching Kadampa Buddhism since 1998. Florida has a special place in Gen Demo’s heart as she previously taught for many years at Kadampa Meditation Center Florida in Sarasota. Gen Demo is deeply appreciated as a teacher and practitioner. She demonstrates a wealth of practical knowledge and provides clear and inspiring teachings for people of all interest levels. This event is hosted by Samudrabadra Kadampa Buddhist Center in Fort Myers. The Center offers weekly meditation classes as well as day retreats and workshops. Everyone is welcome.
