During this session with Dennis Jackson, we will review the past year and share what was popular in TV, Movies, Books, and music. We will discuss the messages that youth get from pop culture. Parents will learn strategies and tips to help your student (child). This presentation is for all parents/guardians of middle and high school students. Middle and high school students are encouraged to attend. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Dennis Jackson is currently the Director of Cultural Engagement and Compliance at Waukesha County Technical College. He has 20 years of professional experience at higher education institutions in North Carolina, California, Colorado, Wisconsin, and Internationally with a program called Semester at Sea. Dennis has a BSBA degree in Business Management and a MA degree in College Student Development from Appalachian State University. Dennis is currently in a doctorial program at the University of Wisconsin- Stout and will graduate in May of 2023. Some of Dennis’ interest include travel, reading, playing board/card games, and listening to podcasts.
