If you’re interested in getting involved with getWITit Columbus, join us for casual meet and greet with the current Executive Board members, a brief overview of the volunteer opportunities for 2023, and time for questions and networking! We have various roles with varying levels of commitment from sharing our posts on social media to helping hands on at an event to being a Board Member and shaping our goals for next year. Wherever you are in your career and life, we have a role for you and welcome you to bring your ideas and experiences to help us build a better community for women in tech! About getWITit getWITit is a non-profit national organization, with the specific mission of addressing the declining number of women in the IT industry, through programs that build a supportive environment where women of all backgrounds flourish in technology and to create opportunities for women to inspire others. Our regional chapters seek to foster an environment that inspires diverse thought within technology by building passionate communities to promote change. We aspire to cultivate local community engagement so that women can sustain, excel, and advance in technology careers. Our chapters share ideas and create support systems through local events to ignite new relationships. getWITit runs various events, seminars and conferences from time to time to update, educate and provoke discussion amongst its community members, potential community members and industry bodies (“Events”).
