Are you looking to VOLUNTEER at Engage Norfolk? The 6th Annual Engage Norfolk returns on Sunday, March 19, 2023 from 11am to 2:30pm at the SCOPE Exhibition Hall. With over 100 organizations at our CivicFAIR and over 1000 attendees, we need volunteers who can assist in the following areas: - CivicFAIR set up (*SATURDAY, 3/18 from 3-5pm): this is a great opportunity to help out AND get a little work out! Volunteers needed to set up 120 tables + 250 chairs. - Load In (SUNDAY, 3/19, 9am-11am): help exhibitors bring their supplies inside the Exhibition Hall - Load Out (SUNDAY, 3/19, 2:30pm-4pm): help exhibitors break down their tables - Registration (SUNDAY, 3/19, 9am-11am): check in organizations - CivicFAIR assistance (SUNDAY, 3/19, 10am-12pm or 12pm-2:30pm): greet attendees, hand out bags/maps, answer questions on the CivicFAIR floor This is a great opportunity for area high school students to gain volunteer hours or for someone looking to get involved and meet new people! Volunteers will receive an Engage Norfolk shirt upon check-in. Snacks and water will be available.
