It’s bitter cold! And the animals at the farm need some help warming up! A tasty hot bran mash is the BEST way to warm their tummies with something delicious! Kids will get a mixing bowl & follow their favorite farm animals “recipe” of favorite things. They will shave apples & carrots & mix in corn, oats, applesauce, molasses, peanut butter, peppermints, or mealworms etc. Then we top off their recipe mixture with bran mash & smother everything with hot water! Once we’ve made our steaming yummie mixes, we put our hats & gloves on & take them out to the animals to give them a delicious cold winter treat! After we do a few hot bran mashes, we can warm up in the barn with hot cocoa & marshmallows & you can warm up by the bonfire! Then kids will have the remaining time to explore the farm & pass out apples & carrots (you can bring some) if you’d like. Dress for the weather!! We will be outside or in the animal barns the entire time. (No heated building for this event). Limited spots 25 each. Event. $10 each Everyone participating needs a ticket.
