Let’s celebrate galentine’s Girls Empowerment Network-style! Join us for baked treats from Sinfull Vegan, a temporary tattoo station, and raffle prizes from Kendra Scott, Cooking with a Twist, and more! Since it is the month of love we thought we would add to the conversation with a workshop on self-compassion - so timely for a month normally hyper-focused on external love as opposed to self-love.Our amazing program coordinators from Girls Empowerment Network will lead a module on self-compassion straight out of the curriculum they teach to the girls in our programs. This event will be a great way to experience their incredible work firsthand. If you are new to our organization, this is the perfect event to get to know us! Girls Empowerment Network (GIRLS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit with the mission of igniting the power in girls by teaching them the skills to thrive and believe in their ability to be unstoppable. This mission comes to life in their programs through a curriculum designed to increase each girl's self-efficacy (her belief in her ability to succeed). Girl Advocacy League is a giving circle welcome to all community members who want to join an inspiring group of people committed to advocating, volunteering, and fundraising for GIRLS but also are also looking to connect and have fun.
