This 4 week course will give you a basic understanding of tarot by focusing on the 5 Cent Tarot deck by Madam Clara. The imagery and design of this deck is very intuitive and fun to read. Although we will be working with the Madam Clara deck, much of the lessons will also apply to other card decks. Each class will include time to familiarize ourselves with the cards and explore your intuition through practice readings. Early registration for this class is $90 until Feb 10, class is $110 afterwards. Week 1-An introduction to tarot reading, history, and discussion with Rick Pomer, the creator of the Madam Clara deck and co-owner of The Parlour. Week 2-We will learn about the Major Arcana cards, their influence and how they apply in your readings. Week 3-This class will focus on the Minor Arcana cards and how they work into readings. Week 4-We will discuss different card spreads and how to continue on your tarot path. *The class does not include cards, however the decks are available for purchase at The Parlour.
