Upon completion of this activity, the learner will be able to:
Manage patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) in the primary care and community setting; Address and monitor cardiovascular health proactively within their female patient populations; Identify patients who are at risk for cardiac amyloidosis and who would benefit from the new diagnostic tools; Incorporate optimal patient management strategies for cardiogenic shock care; andProvide comprehensive after care to patients who have received a heart transplant. Lastly, we are very excited to have Dr. Alin Gragossian share her patient experience and perspective as a young woman who received a heart transplant.
