Description

Go off-the-grid with us as we make our own wood utensils in the Old-growth forest. Shaundon Moore, WAWA's Environmental Education Coordinator will facilitate an urban bushcraft workshop preparing a spoon from wood found onsite at the Outdoor Activity Center. We will learn about wood carving as an indigenous skillset, take an interpretive hike to find wood, and then carve our one-of-a-kind spoon. This event is suggested for teens to adults.
