It will prepare area Bible teachers to teach Isaiah. This training focuses on the big picture of Isaiah. It helps answers interpretive questions in a balanced manner so that Bible teachers can design their own individual lessons with the book’s larger message in mind. Who will teach? Dr. Peter Link, Professor of Christian Studies at Charleston Southern University Dr. Link serves as Assistant Professor of Christian Studies at Charleston Southern University and as one of the Group Pastors at Crossroads Community Church in Summerville, SC. He received his Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in May of 2012 and started teaching at CSU later that year. He has been married to his wife Becky for 19 years and they have 5 children. His ministry and teaching focus on the interpretation of the Old Testament, Hermeneutics, and Biblical Hebrew. He wants people to know that Moses and the Prophets wrote to us and that they wrote to us about Jesus. He is a regular leader of our quarterly EPIC Bible Conference and has enjoyed preaching and serving in multiple Lowcountry churches. Who should consider coming? Any area Bible teacher who wants to learn how these books fit into the Bible’s message. Any area senior, associate, education, or discipleship pastor who wants to investigate whether this type of training will be beneficial to his church’s Bible study ministry.
