Come Mix and Mingle with your favorite Doula Collective in East Atlanta Village for our 2023 Kickoff Event. This Mixer is a social engagement for maternal health awareness and Black Birth Liberation! We are celebrating life in the spirit of joy and wellbeing! Mama Pampering Give-AwaysBelly Binding & Baby WearingBrunch Bites & Preggatinis Open to all Area Doulas We have lots of giveaways including over 70 postpartum care packages donated by the Emerging 100 of Atlantafilled with delightful items to aid in the postpartum healing journey. Our feature guest speaker is the renown Kimberley Seals-Allers, an author, speaker, maternal and infant health strategist, change agent, and all-around rabble-rouser for birth and breastfeeding equity. Kimberley is the author of The Mocha Manual and The Big Let Down. She hosts a podcast called Birthright which centers stories of joy and healing in Black birth. Her most recent project is the Irth App which was designed for us to find prenatal, birthing, postpartum and pediatric reviews of care from other Black and Brown women. There will also be live demonstrations on Baby Wearing and Belly Binding using various fabrics and styles including the Banking Belly Wrap. You definitely want to be at this Mixer!!
