Put on your red carpet best and join us for the Bird Watching Film Festival's "Best of 2022" party, screening, and awards ceremony! Over the course of the 2022 season, the Bird Watching Film Festival screened 69 short films from filmmakers in Kansas and Missouri. You, our wonderful audience, selected your 27 favorites by voting at the events! Those 27 finalists (the "Best of" from each screening, and their runner-ups) are being watched by a panel of eight judges RIGHT NOW, who will select the winners across a myriad of categories. On February 22nd, let's gather to honor the incredible talent that is right here in Kansas City, and watch some of those films! Tickets for this event are pay what you can. Bird Watching is always free - we do not want a ticket price to ever be the reason you don't come, ever! - but we've had some people asking us how they can support this festival so that it can keep going - and this is our solution! You will have the option to make a donation (or not!) when reserving your ticket. This money will go towards improving and marketing the festival. Tickets will only be monitored to make sure we do not exceed theater capacity - reserve a pay-what-you-can ticket to ensure your seat! Announcement of nominated films coming February 9th.
