Research shows that traumatic events early in childhood have a lifelong impact on health and behavior. Family Futures is passionate about preventing trauma and mitigating its effects. Building resilience as individuals, families, and a community is crucial to creating environments where children and families can reach their full potential.
We have created a Lunch and Learn series for organizations and community members to have a chance to learn more about the biology of trauma, its effects on adult outcomes, and how to build and practice resilience.
All sessions will be held at Family Futures from 11:30am - 1:30pm and will include lunch. Maximum registration per session is 15 people. If you're not able to join us for any of the training modules that are of interest to you, please reach out to [email protected] to schedule a training for your organization!
