Black Futures Farm + Through The Trees Collective Present: Restoring the Root - A Black Wellness GatheringBuried within each and every one of us are lifetimes of ancestral wisdom. Wisdom of the lives we and our lineage have led before this one, as well as the knowledge of our true nature and existence. This gathering will help us to connect with and honor those in our Diasporan lineage, who may be genetic, land, and/or spiritual ancestors. The event will feature different parts all led by Black Women business owners, who will be sharing their respective specialties to help guide us in communal connection. **This space is reserved specifically for Black-Identifying persons to heal, rejuvenate and build community with one another. FEATURING: Ancestral Ritual Ceremony led by Nicole Allen of Through The Trees CollectiveGuided Meditation led by Nia Harris of Healing Us Evergreen + Black Futures Farm Crystal Bowl Sound Healing with Antha Reynolds of Late Breakfast Group Reiki Healing with Desiree Batiste of Black Honey WellnessSchedule Flow: Welcome + Land AcknowledgementAncestral RitualGuided Meditation + Sound Healing + Group ReikiThis workshop is happening thanks to the communal support of the folks over at: Black Futures Farms Through The Trees Collective Black Food Sovereignty Coalition ***SPECIAL NOTES*** This space is reserved for specifically for Black-Identifying persons to heal, rejuvenate and build community with one another.THIS EVENT IS FOR AGES 14+There are a limited amount of tickets available. In the event you register but are unable to attend, please email [email protected] to let us know ASAP - so we can offer your spot to someone else! This event will be held in an enclosed, greenhouse on a local farm. While a space heater will be available, please feel free to bring any blankets, additional warm clothing, and/or any items of comfort for that setting that you may desire.Please limit outside food brought into the space (light snacks will be provided), this is due to the farm's location and proximity to wild animals that may be attracted to food scraps left behind.
