Join Current Problems and First Magnitude Brewing Co. for the 9th Annual Clean Creek Revival - the largest single-day trash clean-up event in Gainesville! We provide clean-up materials and massive dumpsters for all the trash! You provide the can-do attitude and commitment to keeping Gainesville's waterways clean! FM will also provide a free beer to all volunteers and will celebrate a job well done with a party featuring live music, an art market, food trucks, and beer! If cleaning up to help the environment isn’t enough, we’ll also be awarding cool prizes for the most trash, most interesting item, heaviest item, and smallest item! This year we’ll have 2 dumpsters so we can keep EVEN MORE trash from our waterways. We’re aiming to set a record, and beat last year's total! SCHEDULE: March 7th- 10th: Pick up supplies and select a clean-up location at the Current Problems Table at First Magnitude. The table will be set up from 4-8 PM each day! If those times don't work for you, please contact 352-222-6727 and we will drop off supplies on-site and coordinate a location with you! March 11th: CLEAN CREEK REVIVAL DAY! Head out to your designated location in the morning and clean up your creek! Bring all collected trash to First Magnitude Brewing Co. after 12 pm to sort, weigh, and toss into the CCR Dumpsters! In addition to the cleanup, there will be educational events throughout March celebrating the Gainesville creek system and its conservation.
