In this introductory workshop, you will learn the processes and techniques for creating an 18-inch luminary star. You’ll learn how to cut, join, and assemble bamboo cane to make a 3-dimensional star structure. Then you will add paper covering, decorate, illuminate, and mount your star. All materials and supplies are included. The workshop is from 11:30 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, March 11 and 12. The first day of the workshop will be for the majority of construction of the piece and papering, and the second day will be for finishing the papering and decoration. No experience necessary. For ages 16 and up.
