Continuing Education is inevitable... might as well get together for a lunch & learn to earn those credits and make it a good time! The Career Compass is hosting a Lunch & Learn for Sonoma County agents to receive full credits for Implicit Bias Training/Updated Fair Housing Requirements. - Anyone with a license expiring on or after January 1, 2023 or who subsequently renews late and submits the renewal after January 1, 2023, must take two additional courses to satisfy their continuing education requirement for license renewal: (1) a two-hour course entitled Implicit Bias Training and (2) a “revised” Fair Housing course that includes an “interactive/participatory” component. DETAILS: The class is a 2-hour class and there will be a short exam at the end that our speaker will walk all the agents through, so it is super user-friendly. Even if you have completed the FAIR HOUSING course before you will need to take the updated version. The DRE will reject any course that does not include the "interactive/participatory" component. NOTE: Once you have registered through Eventbrite, you will receive a follow up email with a link for Career Compass for receiving the CE credit. Seating is limited so grab your reservation early!
