This course is designed to work on the fundamentals of pistol shooting while moving. It is also a cold weather course which allows for our students to work through environmental specific issues. Carrying during cold weather generally means more layers including jackets and gloves. some of the benefits of cold weather training are - working with bulky gear may effect how or were we carry to be affected - cold weather can start to mimic some of the bodies natural reactions when in a defensive situation to include loss of feeling and motor skills - learning if your Conceal Carry choice will work for you during these months At Foundry Tactical we will always continue to train on fundamentals and real world scenarios. This course will work on engaging on the move accurately, different shooting positions, and working through malfunctions. Requirements for this course are - Handgun ( Conceal Carry preferred) - Holster/Holster ( Conceal Holster preferred) -no Serpa or Blackhawk holster - 500 rounds of range ammunition - Hearing and Eye protection -Cold weather gear - Food and drinks ( we do not have a dedicated break for food) - fresh batteries for optics - 40 dollar range fee
