This is a 5-day program held March 6th - 10th evenings from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm This experience is for the beginning or intermediate actor who wants to dig a little deeper into what it means to be the CEO of your acting business. We will experience what your essence is (how others view you, it informs your headshots), resume format, the power of submitting yourself to projects, prepping for meetings with representation and generals with casting directors, the power of gaining representation, and how to communicate effectively with them, and more aspects of the film industry. About The Instructor - Michelle Tomlinson Hailing from New Mexico and Los Angeles, Michelle Tomlinson is an award-winning Actress, Acting Teacher, and Director. A 2020 recipient of the bronze Best Director & Best Web/TV Pilot Award for the Palm City Film Festival for her narrative Directing debut, “Deeply Superficial,” Tomlinson loves working behind and in front of the camera. Tomlinson also Directed the deep emotional drama that addresses sexual assault, “Redemption”, the narrative podcast “Porque”, and the Documentary “Edge”, that centers around Native American language preservation. Working weekly with Actors, Tomlinson coaches and teaches Actors from ages 8-80 and every skill set level. Tomlinson believes in teaching not only the craft of acting and booking acting jobs, but the philosophy and business of what it takes to work in this industry. She uses a holistic approach that she applies in her private acting sessions and workshops.
