Have "the time of your life" at our "Dirty Dancing" inspired party. Bring your dear one in and learn how to dance like Johnny and Baby in the movie! 🕺The party includes a 45-minute dance class, open dancing, and hors d'oeuvres, and refreshments. "Liquid courage" can be purchased from the venue. In a fun and casual setting, you will learn: Basic salsa and bachata dance stepsBasic leading and followingA simplified "Dirty Dancing" routineThis class is designed for beginners. So, don't worry if you have "two-left-feet."  Remember, nobody puts Baby in the corner! Guests must be 21 or older Cost: $69 per couple. Only one ticket for both attendees.Space is limited. This event will be at the "Doc" Holiday Room located at: 24059 Frontage Rd, San Antonio, TX 78257 Justin Lopez and Meihla Petroff, owners of Lesalsa Dance studio, will be the guest instructors for the evening.Ruben Justin Lopez Ruben Justin Lopez was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. At the age of 7 he started taking dance at La Salsa De Hoy. He later joined Young Ambition Dance Company and attended the LaGuardia High School of Music& Art and Performing Arts(the "Fame" school), where he trained in ballet, tap, jazz as well as other modern techniques(Horton, Graham, and Cunningham). In 2010 he joined Latin Fever which later became Balmir Latin Dance Studio the following year. As a member of the professional dance company he has traveled to numerous venues internationally to perform and teach such as Peru, Canada, Dominican Republic, Cuba, and Italy just to name a few. He also studied in numerous dances like Salsa On1 and On2, Latin Hustle, Afro-Cuban, Cha Cha, Bachata, and Kizomba. He performed with PrimaDanceSport to work on a piece honoring HBO’s 30th Anniversary of Dirty Dancing.Meihla Petroff Meihla Petroff is a San Antonio native. She trained and competed in ballroom for 4 years, winning numerous first places at prestigious competitions, including Scholarship in all 14 dance styles. From there she ventured into Latin Dance with her partner Justin Lopez. They took first place in Salsa, Bachata, and Hustle at the Canadian Salsa Congress. Together they opened Lesalsa Dance Studio in Cleveland, the premiere latin dance studio in Northwest Ohio.
