It may be cold now, but spring is just around the corner! This workshop will cover everything you need to know to plan your vegetable garden. We’ll cover topics such as site selection, cost-effective planning, crop seasonality, and plant spacing, and will lead a step by step walk-thru on how to create a personalized garden map + planting plan for your growing space. Come learn with us and get your garden off to the right start! The workshop will be in the conference room of the Reinvestment Partners Building located at 110 E. Geer St, Durham, NC. Parking is available across the street on the lawn next to Bull City Cool/Farmer Foodshare or there is free street parking on adjacent Mangum and Roxboro Streets. Things to bring: Snacks and water bottles, notebooks, pens/pencils. Masks are not required, but you should feel empowered to wear your mask if you feel more comfortable doing so. We will have masks available upon request.
