Description

This 3-day program is Monday-Wednesday, March 13-15, 2023 from 8am-2pm. $100/per student (service fees may apply). Haumana (3rd-6th grade) will be immersed in the moʻolelo and daily practices of our ancestors through hands-on experiences rooted in the native and Polynesian introduced plants that flourish within the ʻili ʻāina of Waipao. Keiki will learn and grow together to build a basic foundation of culture, moʻolelo, language, and practices through the exploration of ʻāina, environment and the natural elements that surround us. Haumana will also learn of Hawaiian aliʻi and how this ʻāina continues to flourish because of the legacies our aliʻi have left for us. Location: Waipao, Heʻeia, Oʻahu.
