For the first time in the history of East Los Angeles... The 1st Annual Goddess of East LA Inner Beauty Pageant. Enjoy live music, cocktails and the launch of a historical annual celebration. Your participation will help us celebrate, empower and uplift youth from our community. Youth from our local schools will be recognized for their academic excellence, volunteer service to their school or community, strong cultural and family identity (regardless of dynamic; single parent, foster, queer parent, etc.), and for their willingness to share their incredible stories of resiliency and empowerment in order to inspire younger generations. It is our responsibility to create opportunities for the generations that will help preserve and improve our communities. Your donation will fund: Scholarships Crowning of a goddess court Participation in annual East LA parade, Speaking engagements for youth Engagement of vendor products in pageant Uplift and inspire current and future young goddesses of East LA.
