Behind the Seams is a monthly series that provides in person connection with fashion professionals to cultivate community and motivate collaboration to stimulate economic growth for Atlanta’s fashion industry. This two-part community event begins with an intentional networking session followed by an unfiltered, raw and real conversation with a featured industry leader. By sharing what inspires us, we hope to inspire one another to create more authentic ways for brands and individuals to connect and grow their fashion businesses in our city. Guest Speaker, Jerrimiah James - Personal Shopper & Luxury Sales Consultant Jerrimiah “Jerry” James is an accomplished personal shopper, stylist and luxury sales consultant with more than 15 years of experience navigating the realm of high-end retail brands like Bottega Veneta, Tom Ford, Brunello Cucinelli, and Christian Dior. During his years as a sales consultant and shopper, Jerry has generated tens of millions of dollars in sales, shopped major markets around the globe, brokered art deals, negotiated on behalf of his clients at luxury fashion houses in Europe and even sold high end pieces of jewelry with 8-10 million dollar price tags. In 2021 Jerry used his sales business acumen and personal style to create a profitable career as an entrepreneur as the founder of Jerrimiah James Style Firm. Located at the Buckhead Village District, Jerrimiah James boasts a private styling suite and showroom offering personal shopping, image and sales consulting services. Moving within circles of influence and affluence, Jerry and his team outfit the lifestyles of an upscale clientele — entrepreneurs, engineers, restaurateurs, executives, creatives, athletes and radio and television personalities.
